NYRA job fair continues today, Saturday

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Saratoga Race Course continues its annual job fair for this summer’s meet today and Saturday at the racecourse Carousel near the East Avenue gate, |267 Union Ave.

New York Racing Association representatives will conduct interviews from 2 to 6 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The meet runs July 20 through Labor Day, Sept. 3.

Opportunities are available for security, white caps (ushers), parking attendants, cleaning, cashiers, bartenders, cooks, chefs, food service supervisors and helpers, giveaway helpers and pari-mutuel betting clerks (weekends only).
Positions are available with NYRA, Centerplate, Union Square Events, Forum Staffing Services, and Pritchard Sports and Entertainment.

Interviews for Shake Shack positions with Union Square Events will be completed today.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age with working papers and have a photo ID and social security card or I-9 alternative.

Prospective pari-mutuel clerks must be 18 or older and have significant cash handling experience.
