Rachell Bitton, M.D.
joined ProHEALTH as Chief of Endocrinology over 10 years ago. She
was Associate Director of the Endocrine Fellowship program at NS/LIJ
for many years as well as a full time member of the Endocrinology
Division. Prior to that she was Chief of Endocrinology at Queens
Hospital Center. She received her medial training at SUNY Downstate from which she also received her Fellowship training.
Dr. Bitton is Board certified in Internal
Medicine and Endocrinology. Her areas of special interest are metabolic
bone disease (osteoporosis, hyperparathyroidism and vitamin D issues) as
well as thyroid, pituitary and PCOS disease. Dr. Bitton has been on Top Doctors and Best Doctors many times over the years. Her division now consists of 4 endocrinologists with expertise in all areas of Endocrinology and diabetes.
