guilty to tax evasion, resigns
Town of Hempstead Councilman Edward Ambrosino has pleaded guilty to a single count of tax evasion on his personal federal income tax as part of a plea deal. Town Attorney Joe Ra said Ambrosino submitted his resignation Wednesday and his last day will be Friday.
