Man Convicted of Quadruple Slayings in Hells Angels Trial

July 30, 1994

HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) _ A man described as a Hells Angels ″wannabe″ was convicted Saturday of murdering a woman, her 6-year-old twins and a family friend 17 years ago, allegedly at the orders of a gang leader.

Robert G. McClure, 47, was sentenced to four consecutive life terms immediately after the verdict, reached by the jury after about six hours of deliberations.

McClure, who claimed he was framed by the outlaw bikers club, sat impassively as the verdicts and sentences were read. His lawyer, Lisa Maxfield of Portland, said McClure would appeal.
