Corruption
For too long, corruption has plagued Nassau county government, costing taxpayers millions upon millions of wasted tax dollars. As a Legislator, Debra will press for real ethics reform. Nassau County needs to ensure transparency in all financial matters and end the culture of cronyism. The County also needs to institute an independent Office of the Inspector General to oversee contracts and spending.
