John Brooks Stands with Local Labor

Senator John E. Brooks said, “Today we stand arm-in-arm with our union friends to emphatically stress the need for Hobby Lobby to hire union employees from this same area where they will draw their customers and earn their profits. We are in solidarity opposing Hobby Lobby’s utilization of nonunion, out-of-state labor and expect the corporation to work within the parameters of fair employment practices that are the norm for our communities.”  Hobby Lobby is planning to open its first store in Nassau county in Massapequa Park later this year.
