UNION FINANCIAL REPORTS NOW AVAILABLE

Financial reports for local unions, joint councils and the International Union for 2019 are now available online for members to review. These are LM-2 financial reports filed annually by each union with the US Department of Labor.
ibt_hq_thumb.jpgYour Teamster dues are the best investment you can make to protect your wages, job security, health care and retirement. Unions are required to file these reports annually so that members can review their union’s finances.
You can find out how to access a local union report here.
You can review the International Union financial report for 2019.
While most of our union dues are put to good use, the financial reports allow members to see where change is needed. One example: James Hoffa’s total compensation, including his salary and $60,000 housing allowance, was $408,972 last year.
The 2019 reports must be filed by March 31. The Department of Labor is allowing unions to request a delay of up to three months, due to the COVID-19 emergency; but it appears that most Teamster locals are filing them without any delay.
