Sadly Andrew Cuomo has done nothing to see that the women and men of New York State have easy access to BCG through the NY State Dep't of Health etc. See faustmanlab.org and pubmed.org faustman dl.
Andrew Cuomo is just another politician who loves to look and has delusions of higher office.
Vote no on Casino Gambling and no to Andrew Cuomo.

Dear Fellow New Yorker,
Governor
Cuomo yesterday urged all New York women to get checked for breast
cancer and reminded women statewide that early detection and education
about breast cancer saves lives.
New
York State is taking steps to provide breast cancer early detection and
prevention programs for all New York women, including those who don’t
yet have insurance. There is no doubt that early detection can save
lives, and New Yorkers are encouraged to be proactive about check-ups
and screenings, as well as educate themselves about breast cancer.
Uninsured women should call NYSDOH Cancer Services Program at 1-866-442-CANCER (2262) or click here to find a free cancer screening in your community.
In July 2012, the Governor
signed legislation that was designed to help improve breast cancer
detection and prevention by requiring mammography services to inform
patients if dense breast tissue is found during an exam. Click here to learn more about New York State Breast Cancer Initiatives.
We will continue to work to provide New Yorkers with the information and services they need to protect their health.
Sincerely,
The Office of the Governor |
