which raises the travel distance for bettors to go to bet, the Nassau Branch of Freeport OTB, closed this past Sunday and more branches will follow at the same time that Nassau OTB buys a new building in Mineola.
Play a long shot and organize bettors to seek positive political change so that they may bet where they want to and where people may work and not end up like NYC OTB. DEAD!

New York Racing Association President Christopher Kay addressed
an audience at the Global Symposium on Racing & Gaming in Tucson,
Ariz. on Tuesday. Although his remarks were not brief, he did not fit in
commentary about his plan to raise entrance fees at the Saratoga and
Belmont tracks.
He spoke at length about improving the fan experience though and
making a visit to the track an unforgettable experience. He added: “We
have to keep in mind that racetracks have a special challenge: Many of
our guests will have lost money by the end of the day, and so we will
have to work extra hard to ensure they leave with a good feeling about
us.”
