Fired for not ringing the doorbells for tom suozzi, Teresa butler sues, wins, costs Nassau otb a fortune and buries the holdup documents with or without the complicity of a federal judge  beneath a "protective order" of dubious validity.

Anyone that runs against tom suozzi has the opportunity to give the us attorney the keys to the highway.

Incumbent Steve Israel (D), who began serving in Congress in 2001, chose not to seek re-election in 2016, leaving the seat open. Israel announced his intention to retire in January 2016. Several Democratic candidates have declared their candidacy at this time: Anna KaplanJon Kaiman and Steven SternDavid Gurfein is the only Republican candidate in the race thus far.
