BOROUGH OF PALISADES PARK NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Palisades Park adopted the following Ordinance after public hearing, at a meeting held on December 15, 2014. Martin A. Gobbo, RMC Borough Clerk ORDINANCE NO. #1631 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 282, SECTION 59 OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF PALISADES PARK ENTITLED "VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC". BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Palisades PArk, County of Bergen and State of New Jersey, that those portions of the aforesaid set forth below are hereby amended as follows and that those portions of the Ordinance not set forth below shall remain unchanged: ARTICLE I. SECTION 282-59(A) Schedule XV: Truck Parking, Commercial Vehicles & Livery Vehicles (A) In accordance with the provisions of Sec. 282-20, Commercial Vehicles to include livery vehicles, buses, trucks over four tons' gross weight and vans used for commercial purposes are prohibited from parking on the following described streets or parts of streets: Name of Street All Streets w/the exception of Commercial Avenue & Bergen Boulevard Time From 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Location Entire Borough SECTION 282-59(C) Schedule XV: Limousines, Omnibus, Livery, TLC (Taxi Limousine Commission) (C) Limousines, Omnibus, Livery "TLC" (Taxi Limousine Commission) are prohibited from standing or parking on all non-metered streets anytime in the entire Borough regardless of the duration or whether said vehicles are occupied. SECTION 282-59(D) Penalties for Parking (a) First Offense: $100.00 fine (b) Second Offense: $250.00 fine (c) Third Offense: $350.00 fine ARTICLE II. If any section, sentence or other part of this Ordinance is adjudged unconstitutional or invalid, such judgment shall not affect, impair, or invalidate the remainder of this Ordinance, but shall be confirmed in its effect to the section, sentence or other part of this Ordinance directly involved in the controversy which such judgment shall be rendered. ARTICLE III. All Ordinances of the Borough of Palisades Park which are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. ARTICLE IV.
