NEW NYS PRESS RELEASE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM NYS News to be used by State Agencies
New York State has created NYS News, a new system for distributing press releases to the news media and other interested parties. You have received this email because you were already receiving emails from one or more state agencies. The system is currently set up so that you will receive releases from NYS agencies.  If you would like to change that, just click HERE to opt-out entirely or de-select any agencies that you DON’T want to get news from. Agencies will begin using NYS News over the next few days, so please set your email to accept mail from NYSNews@ny.gov to ensure the information does not go to a spam or junk mail folder. The system will also post links to releases on Facebook, www.facebook.com/NYSnews and Twitter @NYSnews.  In the near future, we will be adding an app so you can get news sent directly to your iPhone or iPad. As with any new system there are bound to be some glitches early on and we ask for your patience while we work them out.  If you have comments or suggestions, we would love to hear them, please send a note to NYSNews@ny.gov email.
