Irad Ortiz Jr. new rider for Catholic Boy
Irad Ortiz Jr. will be the new rider when 3-year-old Catholic Boy runs in the Grade 1 Florida Derby on March 31 at Gulfstream Park, John Panagot, racing manager for majority owner Robert LaPenta, said Monday.
Cuomo’s budget director, Robert Mujica, fired the first shot Sunday afternoon reemphasizing a proposal the governor floated with his budget presentation in January: under this plan schools that get more than half their funding from the state would have to detail where the money goes on a building-by-building basis.
