On March 19, 2020 Local 707 reached an understanding with NROTB for continuation of salary and benefits on a temporary basis until March 28, 2020. NROTB recently expressed concern over having the financial liquidity to continue these payments.

As you are aware there is currently a Legislative Stimulus Bill passed in the House and Senate and soon to be signed by the President.

Local 707 requested NROTB wait until evaluation of the Economic Stimulus Bill which may provide for payment of salary and benefits for effected businesses such as ours. NROTB has agreed to extend the continuation of salary and benefits until April 4th while the new Economic Stimulus Legislation is evaluated.

We thank NROTB for their cooperation and the Union is asking all employees to be patient as we try to determine the best course of action during these unprecedented times.
