Retired Supreme Court

Justice says before considering a raise consider the rate

Of inflation for each and every year since the last Nassau oTB collective bargaining was signed

Things go better with Coke aka COLA  cost of living adjustment like I have with Social Security

My progeny, Nassau OTBmanager or not, is entitled to their opinion but they should have an appreciation or understanding as to why others do not think

As they do

Congress enacted the COLA provision as part of the 1972 Social SecurityAmendments, and automatic annual COLAs began in 1975. Before that, benefits were increased only when Congress enacted special legislation. Beginning in 1975, Social Securitystarted automatic annual cost-of-livingallowances.
