A pair of high-ranking Russian military officials were reportedly caught in a leaked audio conversation calling President Vladimir Putin a “motherf—er” and lamenting the deaths of tens of thousands of Kremlin troops.
In the apparent bugged phone call, which was allegedly obtained by Ukrainian intelligence, Colonel Maksin Vlasov and Colonel Vitaly blasted the retreat of Russian forces last month from Ukraine’s capital city, Kyiv, the Daily Beast reported.
