let us consider the otb bettors

who come into an otb branch with money in hand to bet who first wish to study the bible, the six dollar thoroughbred program, only to be told that there are none or that the have been sold out.  the bettor wants the bible that he likes. the bettor does not want to walk down the block to buy the bible for more than six dollars. the bettor does not want to print out of a kiosk. the bettor is always right and without them joseph cairo would not have an empire to reign over.  it is almost like a moral thing to try to see that bettors have the bible to purchase so that they may bet. is it any wonder that many bettors  question how nassau otb is run when such a simple matter as having sufficient bibles for sale cannot be executed. it is a moral imperative for the employees of nassau otb to see that bettors
read the bible as they wish, when the wish to do so.

"It's almost like a moral thing to try to help these people," says Cairo.

after the fine italian restaurant left the carle place branch of nassau otb it was replaced by a mr singh, the famous mr singh, restaurant that came and went in short order. mr singh's restaurant was no good.
