Dear Nassau OTB President Josepgh Cairo, fellowNassau OTB employees, and interested others:


The Collective Bargaining  Agreement prestently in effect signed July 2,  2007 provides  at page 43, ARTICLE  XIV Section 3.  LABOR MANAGEMENT MEETINGS."The Union  shall designate a minimum of three members and a maximum of five to attend these meetings. Management shall be represented  by those management members so designated by the president of NOTB" . These meetings have never occurred. Nassau OTB employees and members of Teamsters Local 707 have had their rights violated .  Nassau OTB and Teamsters Local 707 President Kevin McCaffrey
are meeting and exchanging contract proposals without union members being informed as to  the contents and being present as provided for the  Collective Bargaining Agreement.
