Greeks to Joseph Mondello

please Order that Nassau OTB is either closed on ALL EASTERS SUNDAYS or open on all Easters Sundays.

Fair is fair and election day is coming and Nassau County is functionally bankrupt and needs all the praying or/and betting its citizens can.

Seems like a dumb move for a public benefit corporation to try to pick the real Easter Sunday from among the Easter Sundays of thee Gregorian and Julian Calendar?

Look at how many tracks are running all across the United States on Palm Sunday and each and every Easters Sundays.

Nassau GOP chair to troops: No dumb moves

With the election just a month away,  Nassau Republican Chairman Joseph Mondello called all GOP candidates last week to party headquarters to give them a simple message: Don’t do anything stupid.

 

Several people who were at the meeting said Mondello told them to stay on message that Republicans will not raise taxes. Don’t knock fellow Republicans. And don’t come up with any crazy plans or wild proposals before election day.

Or, as one candidate put it, “Don’t snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.”
