I understand that you called the On-call phone this evening regarding today’s temporary closure of the Franklin Square branch which occurred while you were working your shift at the location. It appeared that although the Notice was posted and that you were informed of the reason for the closing, that you have requested a copy of the attached Notice. In that regard, the following actions were taken: 1. Franklin Square was closed so that CDC cleaning protocols could be effectuated. 2. The employees who were in contact with the subject individual were personally notified and instructed to leave work or not to report to work. 3. The Notice was posted in the public areas of each OTB location and on our website. The Contact Tracing Branch Log was reviewed to see if any data was furnished on the day in question. 4. The employees who were in contact with the subject individual were also advised (as were you) that they will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result (test to be taken no earlier than 5 days after the exposure) prior to return to work. These employees will be paid for the shifts for which they were scheduled. We hope the foregoing satisfies your inquiry as NROTB likewise has the deepest concern for the health and safety of our employees and the public. We want all employees to know we are making every effort to provide a safe and pleasant work environment. Stay Safe. If you should have any questions, please contact us. Thank you. Arthur T.
