The Chinese Exclusion Act of the State of

New York is colorblind and wiped out BETTORS of  ALL ETHNIC  persuasions when New York City OTB closed its branches in Chinatown  and all other branches as well. New York State, New York City and the politicians thereof are incompetent, corrupt, and incomprehensibly ... when they cannot see that a gambling operation is run as a public benefit corporation.  It reflects poor on all of us and not just the Asians of NYC that NYC OTB was not run competently and the deadwood et al without a work or people ethic sent to Mars or some other far flung place.  There shall be no Chinese Bettors betting in Chinatown and that is why NYC OTB  closed its branch. There are no Chinese Bettors who bet horses in NY and thus there was no necessity or convenience or .. in having an OTB Branch in Chinatown. Go figure?

Singpoli Group has announced that Lou Raffetto Jr. has been named president of YUP Racing, effective immediately.

YUPRacing.com is the first Chinese-language website in North America that provides the Chinese American community with a wagering platform dedicated to horse racing.

Raffetto has served throughout his career in several executive positions in the horse racing industry. Most recently, he was president of the Thoroughbred Owners of California. Previously, Raffetto served as president and chief operating officer of the Maryland Jockey Club for seven years.

"We are very excited to have Lou Raffetto leading our newest venture into the horse racing industry," said Kin Hui, CEO of Singpoli Group. "With his knowledge and experience in the industry, Lou will establish the direction of YUP Racing and grow it to become the top advance-deposit wagering website among Chinese in America."

"It is an honor to be associated with such an outstanding and highly respected group of individuals who love Thoroughbred racing and are dedicated to finding ways to invest in and enhance the sport," said Raffetto. "YUP Racing is far more than a wagering platform. To grow the brand, we will also be looking for other opportunities relating to racing, including expanding  horse-ownership opportunities via Diamond 100 Racing Club syndication and YUP Racing Club, and by seeking synergistic investment prospects that can be pursued on our own or in strategic partnerships."
