Section 7. Duties of Business Agents. (eg Barry Yomtov Formerly President of Teamsters Local 858 which represented New York City OTB Managers).

Business Agents shall serve the territory to which they are assigned by the President[Kevin McCaffrey AKA the Deputy Mayor and Trustee of the Village of Lindenhurst, Long Island, NY]. They shall serve on all committees between the employers [eg Nassau OTB] and Local Union [Teamsters Local 707], and shall use their best efforts to adjust all grievances.  They must make every effort  to organize people in the craft who are not in the Local Union. They must be guided by instructions of the President and Executive Board. It shall also be their duty to collect dues and initiation fees whenever possible, and  turn same into the office of the Local union at least once a week.
